inThat time my ladder kicked out on a Friday afternoon job
Felt that one in my back just reading it. I had a ladder kick out while I was trying to reach a gutter on a wet porch, ended up sliding down the siding and ripping half the skin off my forearm. Took me a solid 10 minutes to stop swearing and check if I broke anything. It's always the dumbest, most routine jobs that get you too. Glad you landed in something softish even if it was thorny, could've been way worse on that steep driveway.

inShowerthought: Spending $25 on a rice cooker actually saved my food budget
Wait hold on, you throw frozen veggies in WITH the rice while it's cooking? Like just dump them in there with the raw rice and water? I've been doing it so wrong this whole time, I always thought the veggies would turn into mush. That actually sounds way too easy.

inTalked to a neighbor about his old furnace and it changed my mind on replacements
@lindab49 knows what's up. I always ASK my mechanic before replacing anything.

inPro tip: stop putting your graduation year on your resume if it's been over 5 years
Classic. So they're basically age profiling now.

inAppreciation post: I ran a test on two different ad copy styles for a month
Right, that tracks. Specificity is like a cheat code for attention spans these days, everyone's scrolling so fast you gotta hit them right in their current problem. I did something similar for a service business, swapped out "save time" for "stop wasting 5 hours every Monday on payroll" and the conversion rate literally doubled. People see their exact struggle and think "this gets me" before they even read the rest. Your 35% lower CPL is solid, I'd bet money on that trend holding up if you run it again.
