Finally caught myself being the cancel police on a minor thing
Last month I went after a local baker over an old insensitive tweet from 2016, then someone pointed out my own past posts were just as messy. It made me realize I was using callouts to feel righteous instead of actually helping, has anyone else hit that wall?

Does it feel like winning when you hit send on that callout? I did the same thing for a while and it's a trap, we all want to be the good guy without doing the hard work. The second you got checked on your own past, the whole thing crumbled, right? That's the moment you realize the internet has a long memory and none of us are clean. The real move is to help people grow, not just pile on when it's easy. But honestly, most folks just want that quick dopamine hit of being right, not actual change.
