Used to think those cheap laser levels were trash until I grabbed one from Harbor Freight on a whim last Tuesday
I was setting fence posts on a big lot near Dallas and my good Bosch level took a dive off a truck. Needed something that day so I swung by Harbor Freight and grabbed their $30 self leveling one. Figured it would be junk but honestly it held level across 150 feet of line way better than I expected. The line was crisp too. I know people love their expensive green beam ones but for quick layout work this thing surprised me. Anyone else had luck with the cheap red lasers?

Same story with HF impact sockets. Cheap tools work fine until they don't.
