Showerthought: My buddy told me he only watches shows with his phone in another room now.
He said, 'If I pick up my phone once, I'm done with the show.' Honestly, that hit different because I realized I'd missed the entire last 10 minutes of 'Severance' last night. Anyone else try this 'no phone' rule for a new series?

Honestly that "no phone" rule sounds like a chore. Sometimes I just need to check a text or look up an actor.

Totally get that, my friend does the same thing. I tried it with the new season of "The Bear" and realized I had been missing so many small background details, like the stuff written on the kitchen whiteboards. Makes a huge difference.
