Just realized I've been over-tightening collets for years

Wait, you can actually make a grip worse by over-tightening? I always thought more force meant more hold, but that really changes how I'll handle things from now on. Guess it's time to learn a lighter touch.

Can we talk about the bullet journal display at the Seattle library

I used to feel the same way about my plain notebooks. Then I saw a display at our local library where someone had included a page with coffee stains and crossed-out lists. The note said "real planning is messy." That really stuck with me.

Just left a big office in Austin and their server room setup is a disaster waiting to happen

Holly's right, it's always fine until it isn't. What finally got through to a client of mine was showing them the math. I pulled up the spec sheet for their server, found the max operating temp, and pointed at their room sensor. Told them running that hot was cutting the life of every part in half, easy. Sometimes you gotta put it in terms of money - ask them what a full day of downtime costs versus the price of some blinds and a decent surge protector.

Switched from tap water to filtered for my morning brew. The taste difference after a week is huge.

Ugh, that's like half of modern life right there.

My friend said my go-to burger order was 'sad and dry' after we hit the drive-thru

My cousin talked me into adding bacon and barbecue sauce to a plain chicken sandwich once, and it was a total game changer. It went from boring to my favorite order. I saw @lopez.karen's point about the pickle juice, and that's so true for adding moisture. Your friend might be onto something with those extra toppings. A little crunch and tang can turn a dry patty into something way more satisfying. Maybe try it her way next time and see if you like the change.
