Tried the old school paper ledger for a month, my spreadsheet missed it the whole time
I run a small landscaping crew in Columbus and always tracked jobs on my phone. Last month the app glitched and I lost 3 days of billing, almost $900 worth. I grabbed a simple paper ledger from the dollar store and wrote everything down like my grandpa did. Turns out seeing the week laid out on one page catches scheduling overlaps way faster than scrolling. My Gen Z helper thought I was nuts until he saw me finish payroll in half the time. Anyone else find an old method that just works better than the app version?
