Wasn't that the whole point of the original system, to be fast? I totally get what you and @clark.robin mean about just decorating a to-do list. I fell into the same trap of making pretty weekly spreads that took forever. The fancy stuff just adds friction. If your system makes you avoid opening the book, it's broken. My rule now is if a spread takes more than five minutes to draw, it's probably not worth it.
