My group's record is nine hours and we still had to call it. We just started using a chess clock for turns (which is maybe a cry for help).

Our last game hit the six hour mark before someone's pizza delivery arrived and we all just quit. The chess clock feels like the next logical step before we just start mailing each other our moves. Honestly, I respect the commitment to actually finishing a game.

Man, that's brutal. Chess clock is a solid move though, idk how else you'd get through it.
