Got told my dice tower was 'too loud' and had to rethink my whole setup
A buddy straight up said it sounded like a bag of rocks every time I rolled, so I swapped to a felt-lined tower and man, it changed the whole vibe. Anyone else have a small critique that forced an upgrade?

It's wild how one small thing can snowball into a whole new setup, like when I realized my loud typing was annoying everyone in the library so I got a quieter keyboard. You don't notice how much noise affects the group until someone points it out, then it's like, "oh yeah, that was kinda awful." Sometimes the smallest fix makes the biggest difference in how everyone feels about hanging out.

Had a buddy who used metal dice on a bare wooden table. The first time we played with him we all just sat there staring at each other every roll. He didn't think it was bad until his girlfriend yelled from the other room asking if we were renovating. He bought a thick felt mat the next day and now we can actually hear each other talk.
