Ever try finishing it solo? I pushed through the last third of one by myself once, and it was still pretty satisfying to see the story wrap up.

Finishing alone strips the joy from a shared story. Those last moments lose their impact without someone to react with, making the wrap-up feel hollow. It turns into a task to complete rather than an experience to enjoy together. Memories made solo just don't stick like the ones you build with friends. Why rush to the end if you miss out on that connection?
