Update: My group spent 4 hours trying to understand the scoring for that new euro game...
The rulebook was so bad we had to watch three different YouTube videos just to figure out the final round bonuses. Has anyone else had a game just completely stall your night like that?

Ugh, that's the worst. I've started a new policy where if we can't figure it out in 20 minutes, we just make up a sensible rule for the night and look it up later. Saves the whole evening.

Three YouTube videos" means that rulebook is a total failure, not just a bad night.

Oh man, I feel this so hard. @lindab49 is totally right, needing three whole videos means the rulebook is just broken. We had one last month where the setup diagram was wrong, and we spent an hour just trying to get the board to look like the picture before we gave up.
