Wrote off deck builders as glorified solitaire for 2 years, then a buddy's copy of Dominion sat on my table for 6 hours
I used to roll my eyes at anyone who pulled out a deck builder at game night. Then my friend Marcus brought Dominion to a Sunday meetup in his beat up shoebox and I figured I'd play one round to be polite. Six hours and four games later I was the one shuffling and talking trash about my Silver-Smith combo. Turns out building your deck turn by turn hits the same part of my brain as a good prep list, you plan three moves out and watch it fall apart if you get greedy. Any other games in this lane I should try next, or is Dominion just the one that clicks for people who like watching a plan come together?
