Vent: Welding at the refinery and my hood lens fogged up bad
Last Thursday I was up on a scaffold at the Shell plant in Houston, running a root pass on a 6 inch line, when my damn lens fogged up so bad I couldn't see the puddle at all. I had to wipe it with my glove, which smeared it worse, and then the fitter yelled at me for stopping without warning him. Anyone else dealt with fogging on a humid site, and what do you use to keep it clear?

You ever try wiping the lens with a dry rag instead of your glove? I used to think any wipe was fine, but that just smears the oil and sweat around. Now I keep a clean microfiber cloth in my chest pocket, and it makes a bigger difference than I figured.
