inHonestly, I'm tired of hearing 'board games are for kids' at my local cafe in Springfield.
Right? My friend said my copy of Terraforming Mars was just "spreadsheets with cards." It's the engine building that makes it fun, not the pieces.

inI was steaming faces for years before a client's skin told me the truth
Read an article that said steam can break down the skin's natural oils too much. I agree with @joelwells about using a warm towel for many clients instead. It's a good reminder to treat each face as its own thing.

inI was at the Griffith Observatory last weekend and the light pollution from the city was way worse than I remember from like 10 years ago.
But have you seen the new LED lights?

inHeard a coworker say 'they deserve it' about a fired streamer, made me pause
Yeah, that "hunt for someone to hurt" part really hits home. It just feels mean after so much time has passed. I get wanting to hold people to account, but this ain't it.

inHit 50 custom knives made this month and my wrist feels it
My uncle is a physical therapist and he told me once that for every hour of repetitive work, you need like fifteen minutes of a totally different kind of movement. I try to remember that when I'm doing long sessions at my bench. What @the_joseph said about mixing in other tasks makes a lot of sense, even if it feels like you're stopping your flow. I read an article that called it "active rest" and it's supposed to help a lot more than just powering through. I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but I always forget to actually do it until something starts hurting.
