Stared at a fern in the Sydney botanic garden for 20 minutes before it clicked
A volunteer there told me ferns have been on this planet for about 300 million years, which means they were already old when the first dinosaurs showed up. I sat with that for a bit while she kept watering and acting like it was no big deal. Anyone else have a plant fact that made you feel small in a good way?
