Can we talk about how I finally stopped doom scrolling during my 45 minute bus ride to the station?
Started listening to old radio dramas on the 7am route last Tuesday and now I'm actually kinda bummed when my stop comes too fast. Feels like I get a whole story in before shift and not just dumb headlines, so what low key shows are you all burning through on your commute?
Swapped my whole feed for horror anthologies last month and my brain finally shuts up on the ride in. There is something about a story with a real ending that doom scrolling never gives you, you know? Headlines just keep coming and none of them ever wrap up, so your head stays spinning all day. I'm on old time mystery shows now, the kind where the detective always explains everything in the last five minutes. Forty minutes of that beats forty minutes of bad news I can't do anything about. My stop sneaks up on me too and it honestly feels like a small win before the day even starts.
