My bus driver called out my 40 minute game session and now I self-check

Riding the 72 line downtown last Thursday and this driver glanced in the mirror at my phone and said 'that dragon's not gonna slay itself huh'. Made me realize my commute loop was less about enjoying games and more about hiding from the office before I even got there. Anyone else catch themselves doing stuff just to look busy instead of actually picking what they want on the ride?

The DRIVER actually said that to you? That is wild. I would have wanted to sink through the floor of the bus, like did he really just call me out in front of everyone? But then again, he kind of had a point that stings, you know? That little line about hiding from the office hit me way harder than I expected. Now I'm wondering how many of my own little routines are just me avoiding stuff, and that's a REAL uncomfortable thought for a Tuesday morning.
