I counted 27 brand stickers on one guy's hard hat at the Phoenix job site
I was on a 6 month commercial build in Phoenix and noticed one of the ironworkers had 27 stickers layered on his hard hat, all different tool and gear brands. He said he only actually buys from 4 of them and the rest were freebies from reps, which made me wonder if half of brand loyalty is just what lands in your hands. How many of the brands you swear by did you pick yourself versus just end up with?

Did you ever read that thing about how most people's favorite tools just come from whatever their dad had in the garage? I swear half my go-to brands are stuff I inherited or got handed on a job, not anything I picked out at a store. Kinda makes you wonder how much choice we really have in it all.
