Hit up a local car dealership last Saturday and it totally flipped how I see Toyota loyalists
I was just killing time while my wife got her oil changed at a Honda dealer, so I wandered over to the Toyota lot next door. This sales guy told me they have customers who won't even test drive a Kia or Hyundai, no matter what. One guy traded in a 2005 Camry with 280,000 miles on it, still running fine, just wanted the exact same model newer. It hit me that brand loyalty for Toyota isn't about features, it's about people trusting they won't get stranded. The sales guy said most of their repeat buyers don't even haggle, they just pick a color and sign. Has anyone else noticed how Toyota owners act almost like they're in a club?
