Saw a report that 70% of people choose Crest toothpaste over Colgate just because of the taste, not the fluoride.
Found that stat on a dental industry blog last night and it honestly explains so many conversations I've had with patients about why they picked one brand over the other, has anyone else noticed that flavor seems to beat out actual ingredients in most brand decisions?

Wait, 70% just picked based on taste? That's wild.

Hold on, that's actually the most logical way to pick a subscription box though. You can read all the reviews in the world, but if you think the box looks cool and you like the stuff inside, why overthink it? Most food or snack boxes are basically the same price anyway, so taste is really the only thing that separates them in the end. People spend way too much time analyzing every little detail when the only thing that matters is if you'll actually enjoy eating what shows up at your door. It's almost like people are afraid to just make a decision based on what they actually want.
