I chose a 4.5 inch brick over a standard modular for a garden wall in Denver, and the client hated the look.
They said the thicker joints from the oversize brick made the whole thing look 'clunky', even though it saved me a full day's labor and about $200 on material, so has anyone else had a client reject a more efficient build for purely visual reasons?
