Bag of frozen veggies trick I picked up from my neighbor

My neighbor Karen told me she keeps a $1.50 bag of frozen mixed veggies in the freezer for when she's broke and hungry. Last week I threw half a bag into some ramen with an egg and it made 3 meals for under $3 total. Anyone else got cheap add-ins that stretch a meal without costing much?

Man "one decent bowl of soup" okay buddy, tell me you've never been actually broke without telling me. When you're scraping by, three portions from a dollar bag of veggies plus ramen is honestly a win. Not everyone needs a gourmet meal every time, sometimes you just need to not be hungry for cheap.
