I finally tried making a huge pot of chili with a $3 bag of dried beans last week
My wife called it 'bean soup' and my kid said it looked like mud, but we ate it for three days straight. Anyone have a cheap meal that your family judges but secretly eats?

What do you call a meal that gets eaten for three days straight? A total success, that's what. My family does the same thing with my lentil slop, they'll make faces but then go back for seconds. The real test is if the pot ends up empty, not what fancy name you give it.
