I finally counted my hostel nights from last year and hit 63, which was way more than I guessed

I sat down in January and added up every night I slept in a hostel in Mexico and Colombia during 2024, thinking it was maybe 40 nights, and the real number came out to 63. That gap mattered because at an average of $13 a night, the nights I forgot about added up to almost $300 I never put in my budget. Does anyone else track their actual nights somewhere, or do you just look at your bank app and hope it adds up?
