Bought a $32 water alarm for under my sink, it beeped at 2am last Tuesday
I grabbed a cheap battery alarm at the hardware store in Omaha after a neighbor's supply line let go and caused $4,000 in damage. Mine went off last Tuesday at 2am, one slow drip from the shutoff valve, and I had a plumber out the next morning for $85 instead of ripping up flooring. Has anyone else had a small cheap thing pay off like that, or did something like this burn you instead?
