My gym's 'free' trial ended up costing me $89

I signed up for a 7-day trial that required my card details, assuming I'd cancel in time. I forgot by two days and got hit with a full monthly charge. Anyone know gyms with truly free trials that don't need a card?

Happened to my buddy last month, same exact thing. He had to call three times to get the charge reversed.

Yeah, calling to reverse it is the move. I set a phone alarm for two days before the trial ends now, so I don't forget. Have you tried asking them for a one-time refund?
