My entire weekly spread got wrecked by a coffee spill on Tuesday

I was setting up my new Leuchtturm1917 on the kitchen table and a full mug went over it, blurring the ink on three days of planning. Now my habit tracker looks like a sad watercolor painting and I can't read my Tuesday notes at all. Do you just start a fresh page or try to salvage the mess with tape or something?

Gluing the pages together is smart. I'd just turn the page and move on.

Ugh, that's the worst kind of surprise. It's funny how these little messes, a spilled drink or a smudged note, feel like a bigger metaphor. You plan your week so carefully, drawing those straight lines, and then life just splashes right across it. I see it everywhere, like when you clean your car and it rains immediately, or you finally organize a shelf and then your kid dumps a toy bin. The universe just loves to add a little chaos to our order.

Oh the "sad watercolor painting" habit tracker hit me right in the feels. I had a whole week ruined by rain through an open window. Honestly, I tried to save it with clear packing tape over the smudged parts, which sort of worked but made the page all crinkly and weird. In the end, I just turned the page and started fresh, but I glued the edges of the ruined pages together so I wouldn't have to look at them. It hurt, but a fresh start felt better than staring at the mess every time I opened it.
