My habit tracker broke my streak after 47 days
I drew a simple mood tracker last month with 30 boxes and colored each one green for good days. Then I realized I skipped three days in a row and had to invent colors for those boxes that didn't match reality. Has anyone else had a tracker system fall apart because you forgot to fill it in for a few days?

I used to think trackers were just for show too, but then I had a similar thing happen. Your line about "invent[ing] colors for those boxes that didn't match reality" got me. I did the exact same thing with a 30-day workout log last year. Skipped three days and started making up dates so it would look complete. The whole thing felt stupid after that. It changed my mind because I realized those empty boxes are actually the most honest part of any tracker. Without them, you're just lying to yourself about what really happened.
