The coffee shop in Portland that forced me to simplify my whole spread

I was at this tiny coffee spot on Division Street waiting for my drink and this woman next to me had this super minimal bujo, like just a monthly grid and a few habit dots. I stared at my own page with 12 trackers and color coded keys and suddenly felt exhausted. That same day I went home and cut my daily layout from 8 sections down to 3, just tasks, a tiny gratitude line, and one space for notes. It's been 3 weeks now and I actually flip back through it, which I never did with my old fancy spreads. Has anyone else had a random stranger's setup make you completely rebuild yours?

Man that's wild how one random person can just reset your whole brain like that. Kinda makes you wonder how much of our stuff is actually useful vs just stuff we built up because it looked cool. Simple always wins eventually.
