The homemade joke sticker on a truck in a Buc-ee's lot in New Braunfels made me quit buying gas station stickers for good
So last month I pulled into the Buc-ee's off I-35 in New Braunfels and parked next to this beat up F-150 with a sticker on the back glass that just said 'my other ride is your mom, she's real nice.' I laughed way harder than I should have. Then I looked closer and there was small handwriting under it that said the guy prints them himself for $5 and his number was in the corner. I texted him and met up a week later at the same lot. He showed me a binder with like 60 designs and none of them were the same tired stuff you see at every truck stop. I bought three and slapped one on my own tailgate that afternoon. Now every generic 'salt life' or 'coexist' sticker I see just looks lazy to me. Has anyone else run into someone making their own bumper stickers like that, or is it just a Texas thing?
My buddy Dave ran into a guy doing the same thing outside a tire shop in Waco, had a whole milk crate of them in his trunk at 10 bucks a pop. Dave bought one that said "this truck has trust issues" and it's still holding up two years later. So yeah, not just a Buc-ee's thing, seems like there's a guy like that in every town if you look hard enough.
