Hit 1,000 Mbps in a town that had dial up 20 years ago, still feels weird

I run a small repair shop over in Emporia and we just got fiber to the building. I remember back in 2003 I had a 56k modem that took 4 minutes to load a single parts diagram. Now I ran a speed test on my lunch break and saw 1,000 Mbps. That number hit me different. It meant I could back up our whole customer database in under a minute instead of overnight. Funny thing is my older customers still ask if we have a 'fast lane' like it's 1998. Has anyone else had that moment where a speed milestone made you realize how far things came? What was your number?
