That $15 hinge template saved my whole Saturday afternoon
I've been installing cabinet doors for years and always marked hinge spots by hand with a tape measure and a pencil. Last weekend I finally grabbed a cheap plastic hinge template from the supply house, mostly because I was sick of the math. First door was dead on, zero adjustments needed. I did a full 12-door kitchen before lunch, which usually takes me until 3pm. Has anyone else tried those templates and found them worth it, or do you stick to your own measuring system?
