That "sat on my draft for 11 weeks" part is what I would want to unpack. Did the blogger actually tell you upfront that turnaround was slow, or did you find out by watching the calendar? The difference matters a lot here. If a site says "we publish in 2 to 4 weeks" and then goes silent for nearly three months, that is a broken promise, not slow and steady. But if they told you from day one that they batch posts quarterly, you basically knew what you signed up for. What did their rate page or email thread actually say about timing before you paid?

People do this with everything, not just TV. Music, restaurants, whole cities get written off because one loud guy said it wasn't worth it. Takes about ten minutes of actually trying the thing to find out the loud guy was just wrong.
