That $600 vacuum press kit I bought... and the shop sale I lost
I grabbed one of those budget vacuum press kits from a trade show in March to do bent laminations, watched all the demos, felt confident. Spent a week building this curved panel for a custom bar in Naples, then the bag split right at the seam during the final pull, ruined the whole piece and I gave the client a refund. Anyone else burn money on gear that fails at the worst possible moment, or do you still think cheap press systems are worth the gamble?
