Rocky soil made my buried cable job a disaster
Yesterday, I was on a job where we had to bury cable in really rocky ground. The trencher kept hitting rocks and broke down twice, causing huge delays. What's your method for dealing with tough soil without wasting a whole day?

Man, we SWITCHED to a vibratory plow and it SAVED our butts in rocky ground!

That sounds way better than the old method of just shaking the teeth out of your skull.

So you switched to a vibratory plow. What's your move when you hit a rock it can't get through, like a real monster one? Do you just stop and dig it out by hand, or have you found a faster way to clear the path?
