inI started turning my camera on for every single work meeting
Did you ever have that moment where you realized your camera-off profile pic was just you squinting at the sun from 2017? That was me. I finally turned mine on and my boss was like "oh, you have a beard now." I guess I'd been a chinless ghost for three years. It's wild how much just showing your face changes things, even if you're just sitting there nodding with bedhead.

inMy neighbor insists on GFCI outlets everywhere, but I think it's overkill for dry areas.
I argued with my neighbor about this last year. He showed me how a GFCI can trip from a fault in any old wiring, not just water. Ended up adding a few and it's peace of mind for cheap.

inRant: The clean floors now remind me of the grease stains we wore like badges.
My hands feel weird without grease under the nails.

inWatching my niece create digital art reminded me why I started.
My nephew Jake is only five but he mixes colors on his app without a second thought. It totally took me back to when I first picked up a paintbrush. I used to overthink every shade, but watching him go wild with neon green and purple made me try again. Last week I dug out my old sketchbook and just played with colors for hours. That kind of pure joy is exactly why I got into art in the first place. Now I make time to draw with him every Sunday and it keeps my own creativity fresh.

inUnpopular opinion: I stopped chasing fast wifi and my work got better.
Actually seems like you're just adding extra steps to a simple problem. If you need slower internet to focus, maybe the issue is your self control, not your connection speed. Most of us just close distracting tabs when we need to work. Planning your whole day around bad wifi sounds more annoying than helpful, to be honest.
