Shoutout to the guy in Phoenix who helped me with a flooded conduit

I was pulling fiber through a conduit under a street in Mesa last month when we hit a foot of standing water. My fish tape was stuck and the pull string was soaked. A local installer named Ray saw me struggling and brought over his shop vac to suck the water out, which saved the job. Anyone have a better trick for a wet underground run?

Yeah, I feel that, @jason168. My last attempt ended with me just staring at a broken piece. Sometimes you just have to walk away for a bit.
