Switched from a cheap espresso machine to a La Marzocco and my morning rush got way smoother

I ran a BBE for like 4 years at my cafe in Silver Lake and it was fine for a while but after 50+ shots a day that thing just couldn't keep up. The steam wand would die mid-pitcher and the temp would swing like crazy. Last spring I finally bit the bullet and got a refurbished La Marzocco GS3 for around $4,000. Night and day difference honestly. Now my shots come out consistent every time and I can steam milk for 4 lattes back to back without waiting. The only downside is my barista keeps eyeballing it like she wants to take it home. Anyone else here make a similar jump and notice a big change in their workflow?

Rolled up to my local coffee shop with my trusty Gaggia Classic and thought I was hot stuff till I saw a buddy's off the shelf Linea Mini. My machine's been through like three different pressure gauges and I swear the steam wand has a personal vendetta against me for forgetting to purge it twice. Ended up upgrading to a ECM Synchronika for around $2500 and I still feel like I'm faking it every morning pulling shots. At least now my mistakes taste a little more expensive.
