Just realized Firefly got canceled for a reason I keep ignoring
Everyone in this sub treats Firefly like the perfect show that TV screwed over, but I finally sat through all 14 episodes again last month and noticed how much of the dialogue is just Whedon style quips with zero plot payoff. Fox's real screwup was airing out of order, sure, but the show also spent 3 episodes on filler heists that went nowhere. If it came back in 2025, would you actually watch a full season of that pacing, or just say you would to feel loyal?
