Saw a Firefly mural in Austin and got mad all over again

I was walking through the South Congress area last weekend and spotted this huge, amazing mural of the Serenity crew. It just hit me how criminal it is that show only got one season. The cast had perfect chemistry and the 'verse felt so real. Which canceled show makes you randomly angry when you see fan stuff for it?

Oh man, Firefly is the big one for me too. I read an interview years ago where Joss Whedon said they had stories planned for like seven seasons. Just kills me to think about what we missed. Seeing that stuff pop up is a real punch in the gut.

Ever try reading the comics or the novel tie-ins? They're not the same as a show, but some of the story ideas he had for those later seasons actually got used there. It helps a little.
