Watched my favorite show get canceled mid story in March 2022, and I finally found out why
I was sitting on my couch in Columbus last month rewatching the last season of a show that got axed in March 2022, and it hit me how the story just stops with no ending. So I looked it up and found out the network moved it to Friday nights against playoff basketball, which tanked the ratings. The showrunner posted that they had a full season 3 mapped out and even filmed a teaser that never aired. I emailed the streaming service through their feedback form twice, once in April and again in July, and got the same canned reply both times. My roommate thinks I am wasting my time but the fan campaign got 48,000 signatures in 3 weeks. Has a letter or petition ever actually worked for anyone here, or is it just yelling into the void?

Yelling into the void, yeah, but sometimes the void yells back. Seen it happen.
