Serious question, who else got burned by the 'growth mindset' advice when they got laid off in 2009?
I was in a conference room in Phoenix when my boss said 'we're going in a different direction' after 6 years, and I spent the next 4 months applying to 60 jobs before a former coworker in Tucson got me an interview, so now I'm wondering if the real lesson was networking, not mindset.
