Buddy at the taco truck changed my mind about gas station burritos

My coworker Mike swore by the 7-Eleven breakfast burritos for months and I kept telling him he was crazy. He finally dragged me there last Tuesday and made me try the one with chorizo and eggs for like $3.50. I gotta admit, it was way better than the $8 ones I grab from the cafe down the street. Has anyone else found a hidden gem at a gas station that actually slaps?

Wait, is this like a universal law where the sketchier the place looks, the better the food actually is? I feel like I've noticed this everywhere, not just gas stations. The best pizza I ever had was from a place with a neon sign that was half burnt out and a dude who just grunted at me when I ordered. Maybe when a place isn't spending money on fancy decor or a prime location, they actually put that money into the ingredients or just really care about cooking. It's like the food has to work harder to get people in the door, so it's actually good.

My buddy once ate at a place with a flickering "PIZZA" sign and found a single hair in his sauce, so it's not always a guarantee.
