Appreciation post: the 68 year old prep cook at my last gig who showed me how to hold a knife again
She watched me fight through a case of onions for 20 minutes before walking over, putting her hand on mine, and asking 'why are you squeezing it like it owes you money?' and I've taught that grip to every new hire since.
