Need help picking a side for my scallop dish

I'm working on a scallop recipe with a lemon glaze. Can't decide if I should serve it with risotto or roasted veggies. What do other chefs recommend?

Honestly, consider how the lemon glaze will play with each side. Risotto absorbs liquids and might dull the citrus punch. Veggies with a bit of char let the glaze stay sharp.
