Dropped $340 on a rotary chimney brush kit and it paid for itself in one job
Was about to hand-scrub a nasty creosote clog in a brick flue up in Tacoma and the rotary setup cleared it in 25 minutes instead of the 2 hours I was dreading. Anyone else running rotary for the heavy glaze jobs, or am I wasting money on attachments?
Feel your pain on that creosote glaze, that stuff is like concrete and hand scrubbing it is just brutal on your arms and your patience. Spending 340 bucks stings up front but getting a two hour job down to 25 minutes means you basically made your money back the first time out. Rotary setups are the real deal for the heavy stage three glazing, the rods and whips just spin it off instead of you fighting it. You are not wasting money on attachments, sounds like you bought the right tool for the job you actually get.
