Wire brush vs rotary brush on heavy creosote, no contest

Spent 3 hours on a flue in Portland last Tuesday with the wire brush, barely made a dent. Swapped to the rotary kit and finished in 40 minutes. Anyone else ditch the manual stuff once they tried the powered option?
