Switched my downtown commute from the 7:15 express bus to the light rail and I'm never going back
I take the same trip every morning from Riverside Ave to 5th and Main, and the express bus was killing me with the 4:50pm return only running twice an hour. The light rail on the Blue Line runs every 8 minutes and drops me two blocks from my office at 300 Main St. It costs $2.75 vs the bus's $3.25, which adds up to about $25 a month. Has anyone else made this switch, or am I missing a downside with the rail during winter weather?
