I finally switched to a 3 flute carbide for aluminum and the old guy at the shop was right
A machinist named Dale with 30 years on the floor kept telling me my 2 flute hogging was killing my finish and he was right, my cycle time on the 6061 brackets went from 18 minutes down to 11 and the chatter just disappeared, so what feeds and speeds are you guys actually running on 7075 with a 3 flute?
