Just realized my kid's model car kit taught me about checking work steps

My boy and I were building a plastic model car last evening. I saw how skipping a page in the instructions made us take parts apart later. It reminded me of when I rush a setup on the mill and miss a tool offset. Now I double-check my sheets at home and at the shop. Guess family time can fix bad habits on the floor too.

That skip taught you to slow down before the cut, not after.

Those tiny routines at home really DO teach patience for the big stuff.

Forget linking shop focus to Lego time.
